12 Brands That Make Coordinated Tennis Sets (2026): Prices, Fabrics and Which Ones Pass an All-White Dress Code
The short answer
Twelve brands currently sell women’s coordinated tennis sets — a skirt or skort and a top designed to be worn together, either sold as a set or cross-linked as a pair on the brand’s own site. They run from about $120 for both pieces (New Balance, adidas, HEAD) to $310 (Tory Sport). Most guides stop at the list. The two things that actually decide whether a set works for you are further down: whether an all-white version exists (only 9 of the 12 offer one, and two of the most-searched brands do not), and whether the fabric is built for a court or a studio — which the composition tells you if you know how to read it. That is where a factory can help.
The 12 brands at a glance
Prices are for skirt + top, as listed on 3 September 2026; they change with seasons and sales.
| Brand | Set (skirt/skort + top) | Both pieces, USD | Sizes | All-white version? | Recycled-content claim |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alo Yoga | Airbrush Better Together Tennis Skirt + Airbrush Better Together Bra [1] [2] | $88 + $88 | XXS–L | Not as a set — colourways are colour/white contrast; all-white pieces sold separately [3] | not stated |
| Lululemon | “Matching Sets Tennis” category (31 items), e.g. Align High-Rise Skirt + Flow Y Tank in a shared colourway [4] [5] [6] | $78 + $68 | Skirt 0–14, tank XXS–XL | Tank in White; skirt colour list not captured | not stated |
| Tory Sport | Tech Piqué Tennis Skirt + Tech Piqué Chevron Polo [8] [10] | $160 + $150 | XS–XL / XXS–XL | Yes — “snow white” skirt; the brand files it under “Court Classics / tennis whites” [9] | not stated |
| Lija (Canada) | Revenge Skort 13″ + Sporty Tank [11] [12] | $110 + $95 | XS–XL | Yes — white skort; Rival Tank in white [13] | not stated; “Made in Canada” |
| Love All Tennis (USA) | Kate Skort Classic + Kate Classic Top, marketed as the “Kate Set” [14] [15] [16] | $160 + $120 | XS–XL | Yes — white with contrast trim | not stated; “Made in the U.S” |
| Nike | NikeCourt Advantage Dri-FIT Pleated Skirt + Advantage Dri-FIT Tank [17] [18] | $90 + $60 | XS–XXL, skirt also in Tall | Yes — White/White both pieces | Skirt ≥ 75 % recycled polyester; tank ≥ 50 % |
| adidas | London Pro Skirt + London Pro Match Tank (retailer page; adidas.com blocked automated access) [20] [21] | $65 + $65 | XS–XL | Yes — white both | Recycled polyester (86 % skirt, 100 % tank) |
| Lacoste | Fall Players Skirt + Fall Players Polo (retailer page) [23] [24] | $145 + $130 | FR 34–44 (US 2–12) | Yes — white both | 82 % recycled polyester |

| Sweaty Betty (UK) | Tennis Skort + Pro Racket Power Tank in a shared colourway; site has a “Matching Sets” edit [35] [36] [37] | $114 + not stated | XXS–XXL | No all-white captured (Butterscotch Yellow/White, Black/White) | Tank 84 % recycled polyamide |
Checked and left out because no coordinated set was purchasable on 3 September 2026: EleVen by Venus Williams (store showed “unavailable”), Fila (online shop “on pause”), L’Etoile Sport (tennis-sets collection empty), Varley (no pairing on site), Sporty & Rich (skirt verified, matching top page unreachable), Rhone, Bandier, Set Active, Recreational Habits, Lucky in Love (site under construction). If one of those relaunches, it belongs on the list.
What the fabric compositions actually tell you
This is the column most brand lists leave out, and it is the one a factory reads first. “Coordinated” is about colour; whether the set plays tennis is about the knit.
| Brand | Skirt / skort fabric | Top fabric | What that means on court |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alo Yoga | Airbrush, 87 % nylon / 13 % elastane, medium compression [1] | Same Airbrush [2] | Studio-origin knit: soft, high stretch, sculpting. Nylon has better hand and recovery than polyester at the same weight but holds more moisture — fine for doubles, warm for three sets in July |
| Tory Sport | Tech piqué, 100 % polyester; inner short polyester-spandex mesh; ball pocket; 2.75″ boy short [8] | COOLMAX® EcoMade PRO–LYCRA® piqué [10] | Classic court construction: piqué breathes, polyester dries fast, the ball pocket is a tennis detail no studio brand adds |
| Lija | 90 % polyester / 10 % spandex, laser-cut perforation, quick-dry [11] | Same; Rival Tank 92 % nylon / 8 % elastane, UPF 20 [13] | Perforation is a heat-management choice; a 90/10 polyester skort recovers well and dries fast |
| Love All Tennis | UV-protective cotton spandex, built-in shorts [14] | Cotton spandex [15] | The only cotton set on the list. Cotton looks and feels “club”; it also holds sweat and dries slowly — a style choice, not a performance one |
| Nike | Lightweight woven, built-in shorts, pockets [17] | 71 % polyester / 29 % spandex, Dri-FIT, ribbed [18] | A woven skirt with a knit top: the pleats hold shape because woven fabric does not stretch; the 29 % spandex tank is unusually high and will feel compressive |
| adidas (retailer) | 86 % recycled polyester / 14 % spandex, CLIMACOOL, 14″ [20] | 100 % recycled polyester piqué [21] | Standard performance spec; a 100 % polyester piqué top has zero stretch — sizing matters more |
| Lacoste (retailer) | 82 % recycled polyester / 18 % elastane, box pleats, 13″ [23] | Same, partial zip, mesh back [24] | Same fabric top and bottom is the easiest way to guarantee a colour match — see the note for brands below |
| New Balance (retailer) | 77 % recycled polyester / 23 % elastane, 13.5″ [25] | Same [26] | Same fabric both pieces; 23 % elastane is on the high side for a skirt and will feel snug at the waist |
| HEAD (composition from retailer) | 87 % polyester / 13 % elastane, UPF 50+, 4-way stretch [30] | 100 % polyester with mesh inserts [31] | UPF 50+ is a stated, testable claim; few sets on this list make it |
| Wilson (retailer) | Polyamide/elastane blends (waistband 89/11, overlay 77/23, shortie 95/5), anti-odor, 14.5″ [33] | 93/7 outer, 92/8 inner, shelf bra [34] | Three different blends in one skirt is normal factory practice — each panel gets the stretch it needs |
| Sweaty Betty | 62 % polyamide / 38 % elastane “Power” fabric, 4″ inseam, two ball pockets [35] | 84 % recycled polyamide / 16 % elastane [36] | 38 % elastane is the highest on the list — a compression-level skort that will feel very secure and warm |
| Lululemon | Align fabric, built-in liner short, 13″; composition not shown on the captured page [5] | Light support, B/C cup [6] | Align is a yoga fabric first; check the composition tab before buying it for singles in heat |
Three patterns worth noticing. Polyester/spandex around 85/15 to 90/10 is the court default (Tory Sport, Lija, adidas, HEAD); it dries fastest and recovers well. Nylon/elastane sets (Alo, Wilson, Sweaty Betty) come from studio or lifestyle lines and feel softer and more compressive. And the recycled-content column splits cleanly: the mainstream sports brands state it (Nike, adidas, Lacoste, New Balance, Sweaty Betty’s top); the premium and independent brands mostly do not.
Which sets pass which dress code
“Coordinated” and “club-legal” are different questions. Dress codes range from almost entirely white to anything tennis-appropriate, and the rule you play under decides which of the twelve you can wear.
| Dress-code type | Real example (2026) | What it requires | Sets on this list that qualify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Almost entirely white | Wimbledon / AELTC [38] | “Suitable tennis attire that is almost entirely white”; off-white and cream excluded; skirts completely white except one colour trim on the outside seam no wider than 1 cm; solid mid/dark undershorts allowed if no longer than the skirt | Tory Sport (snow white), Lija (white skort + Rival Tank), Nike (White/White), adidas, Lacoste, New Balance, Wilson — provided the top is also white. Love All’s white-with-contrast-trim depends on trim width |
| All-white, year-round, including socks and hats | Piping Rock Club, NY [40] | All-white tennis attire including socks and hats; coloured warm-ups only 1 Oct–30 Apr outdoors; no large printed images | Same seven as above; check logo size against the “no large printed images” rule |
| Weekend white (70 % or more) | Westwood Country Club [41] | Legitimate tennis attire always; all-bright-white requested weekends and holidays, defined as 70 % or more white | The seven above, plus most white/colour-contrast sets — Alo’s Better Together in black/white would need measuring |
| Coloured apparel permitted | Huntingdon Valley CC, PA (updated 6 May 2026) [42] | Appropriate country-club tennis attire; coloured apparel permitted; hats bill-forward; regulation tennis shoes | All twelve, including HEAD (navy/purple) and Sweaty Betty (butterscotch) |
| Tournament-specific | USTA sanctioned events [39] | USTA sets no national colour rule; each tournament must publish any clothing restrictions on its entry form and website before entries open | Read the entry form |
The practical rule: if your club is white-only, HEAD and Sweaty Betty are off the list and Alo needs the separately-sold white pieces. Everything else has a white option — but confirm the top; several brands’ white skirts pair with a colour top by default.
The size range nobody puts in the headline
Nine of the twelve brands stop at XL (or US 12–14). Only three go further: Nike to XXL (US 20–22) with a Tall skirt, HEAD’s skort to 3XL, Sweaty Betty to XXL. If you wear above a 14, the “12 brands” list is really a three-brand list.
From the factory side, this is a pattern decision, not a fabric one. A tennis skort graded to 3XL needs a different rise curve, a longer inner short, and a waistband elastic specified for the larger circumference — not a scaled-up size 8. It is more development work, which is why most brands stop at XL. We develop coordinated sets through 2XL and 3XL as standard, because the demand exists and the pattern work is where the difference is made.
A note for brands: why “coordinated” is harder than it looks
A matching skirt and top are usually two different fabrics — a woven or heavier knit for the skirt, a lighter knit for the top — dyed in two different mills. Getting the same shade on both is a lab-dip job across substrates, and it is the reason several brands on this list (Lacoste, New Balance) simply use one fabric for both pieces. If you are developing a set, the colour-matching process is covered in our guide to designing coordinated mixed-doubles tennis apparel and in Pantone colour matching for activewear; the club-market fabric standards are in the country club tennis attire guide.
Frequently asked questions
Which brands sell tennis sets as a single purchase? Love All Tennis markets the Kate Set as one item; most other brands sell the pieces separately but cross-link them as a pair (Alo’s “Shop the Look”, Nike’s “Complete the Look”, Lululemon’s “Matching Sets Tennis” category).
What is the cheapest coordinated tennis set from a major brand? On 3 September 2026, New Balance’s Core Tournament Skirt and Tank ($60 + $60) and adidas’s London Pro pair ($65 + $65) were the lowest; HEAD’s PLAY skort was on sale at $52 with the tank at $65.
Which coordinated sets are all-white for club play? Tory Sport, Lija, Nike, adidas, Lacoste, New Balance and Wilson each offer both pieces in white. HEAD and Sweaty Betty did not have an all-white set at the time of checking; Alo sells white pieces separately from its Better Together set.
Do any tennis sets come in plus sizes? Nike (XS–XXL, plus a Tall skirt), HEAD’s skort (to 3XL) and Sweaty Betty (to XXL). The other nine stop at XL or US 14.
Is a nylon or a polyester set better for tennis? Polyester/spandex dries faster and is the court default; nylon/elastane feels softer and more compressive and comes from studio lines. Neither is wrong — for long matches in heat, polyester; for doubles and off-court wear, nylon is fine.
Are Lululemon and Alo tennis sets club-legal? Only if the club permits colour or you choose the white pieces. Both brands’ coordinated sets are mostly colour or colour/white contrast; both sell white items separately.
